El vello corporal y las campañas de marketing
Imágenes de las campañas de Adidas y NikeEn 2019, la firma deportiva Nike lanzó la polémica al posicionarse en el debate compartiendo una imagen de su campaña para mujer protagonizada por Annahstasia Enuke, la cantante de soul que posaba para la firma deportiva mostrando el vello de sus axilas sin complejos. Sin embargo, como era de esperar, esto no tardó en causar un gran revuelo en las redes sociales y los mensajes de los detractores no hicieron esperar.
Otra firma deportiva que apuesta por ha apostado por sacar el tema a la palestra ha sido Adidas. La marca apostó por fotografiar a Leila Davis, bailarina y coreógrafa de pole dance, para una de sus últimas camapañas de ropa ecológica en la posa con las prendas de la nueva colección exhibiendo con orgullo el vello de las axilas. La marca explicó que con la imagen quiere resaltar valores como la confianza, la inclusividad de todos los tipos de mujer y la autenticidad.
